Frequently asked questions
Why does brand consistency matter?
Algorithms classify creators into specific knowledge graphs. If your content shifts constantly between different formats and tones, the algorithm cannot confidently recommend your videos to a core audience.
What should a content audit actually tell you?
Which of your posts beat your own typical performance, and what those posts had in common. An audit that only reports totals tells you how you are doing without telling you what to do differently.
How many posts do you need for a useful audit?
Enough to establish a baseline. A handful of posts cannot show you what normal looks like, so any pattern you spot is likely noise. More history produces a more trustworthy baseline.
Should you delete underperforming posts?
Generally no. Deleting removes data you can learn from and rarely improves how new posts perform. The exception is content that misrepresents what you now do.
How often should you audit?
Roughly monthly for active accounts, or before each planning cycle. Short-form performance patterns shift over weeks, so a quarterly audit tends to describe a period that has already passed.
